Amazon bolsters battery life for Kindle; Adds native PDF reader

ZDNet: Amazon bolsters battery life for Kindle; Adds native PDF reader.

I have been on the fence about wanting a Kindle, but native PDF support is enough to push me over to the gotta have side of the fence. I have lots of technical books in PDF that would be awesome to have with me, available all the time. It's an easy decision now, it's like spending $259 and getting $1000 worth of books free because I already have that many books to put on the device.

All Oracle documentation is available via PDF, it'll be like a portable technical library.

Nook is sold out everywhere.

And I'd prefer to be able to read on iPhone + Desktop. Kindle has ability to keep everything in sync. The big thing I was waiting on was native PDF support and now that Kindle has that I'm sold. Got tons of PDFs.
